Benifits of lucid dreaming

Benefits

Lucid dreaming has many benefits and personally I see no reason to use a new found virtual reality machine for my own personal benefit.
It can be used for facing fears and overcoming them without risk to self. Many high level scientist, engineers, and inventors use lucid dreaming for solving problems.Painters musicians, and other creative types use lucid dreaming to find new ideas.
In a lucid dream the subconscious can connect problems and ideas in new ways and ways that your conscious mind may have overlooked or ignored due to automatic dismissal or incorrect logic. There has been many books, inventions, scientific breakthroughs, and other great ideas credited to lucid dreaming.
Many surgeons, pilots, pro athletes, public speakers, professional dancers and others who need to repeat an action almost perfect will practice in lucid dreams. Lucid dreaming is a great way to grab a few extra hours of practice when not possible in real life. It can give a great edge in a competitive field if you have just a few more hour of practice.
Relaxation is another great benefit, so take that vacation, blow up an army of robots, or visit a theme park. A large number of people use lucid dreaming to release sexual tension and thus reduce distraction during waking time.
Lucid dreaming is a great way to gain a good understanding of your subconscious, practice many skills, rehearse situations, the study of dream signs, and there are many psychological side effects that are beneficial.
The increase in attention, strengthening of brain waves and the physical structure of the brain are all good side effects that start with even attempting lucid dreaming. The effects on creativity from successful lucid dreaming is recorded throughout history.
