  When lucid in a dream you can fly, go through objects, have any superpower you can imagine, turn your boss into a bug, and anything else you can imagine.  You will spend over 6 years of your life in dreams, would you rather watch a random movie or direct one.

Your own virtual reality machine

 You have several hours of spare time a day and a virtual reality machine. Should you choose to forget those few hours or use them to explore and play with the machine?

  The machine has been sitting there for years just running on random settings. If you figure out the controls and start playing with it you can very soon be a pro at writing your own programs for it and creating whole realities .  Any situation, item, planet, game, adventure, or desire you imagine is at your fingertips.

 Take that machine out of autopilot and grab the controls. Read the manual, play with the buttons, and explore the possibilities. With growing interest and experience you may even choose to something to  me and find out how the machine works and gain interest as a programmer.

 Its your virtual reality machine. You own it. You have several hours a day to play with it. Why wouldn't you play with it?

 The cost is nothing. Dreams are the cheapest entertainment available and are had by everyone from homeless people to billionaires. The most current and expensive entertainment cant even compare to the experience. Television and other video sources have terrible graphics, sound, and don't include touch, smell or other senses. If  you must feed your screen entertainment addiction then why not  do it in a dream on a desert island or Mars a little every day.
